Most small homes with these issues do not also have bacterial contamination or significant taste/odor problems after the iron and pH are corrected. Yes, both are easy to add. The carbon filter goes after the softener (no power or drain needed) and the UV goes last in the line. We sell both as standalone systems that plumb right into the existing treatment line with standard 1-inch connections.
