Installation Order (From Well to House)
Pressure tank (your existing tank)
Sediment filter (Big Blue housing, mounts on wall)
PFAS removal system (no power, no drain needed)
UV sterilizer (requires 120V outlet, install last before house entry)
Electrical Requirements
Only the UV sterilizer needs power. You will need one 120V outlet in your utility area. The sediment filter and PFAS removal system are fully passive.
Drain Requirements
None. The PFAS removal system does not backwash and the UV sterilizer does not produce wastewater. This is one of the simplest multi-stage installations we sell.
Space Planning
Plan for roughly 3-4 linear feet of space. The PFAS tank is about 10-13 inches in diameter. The UV sterilizer mounts horizontally on the wall. The Big Blue housing is compact and mounts vertically.
Time Estimate
Most homeowners complete this install in 2-4 hours. It is significantly simpler than larger multi-system packages because there are no drain connections or valve programming steps.
Sediment Filter Every 3-6 months
Replace the 5-micron cartridge when flow drops or it looks dirty. Unscrew the housing with the included wrench, swap the cartridge, and reinstall.
PFAS Removal System Every 3-5 years
The catalytic carbon media eventually reaches capacity. When your water test shows PFAS levels climbing back up, it is time to replace the media. Pour out the old, pour in the new through the top opening. We recommend testing annually to track performance.
UV Sterilizer Annual lamp swap
Replace the UV lamp once a year (the controller counts down lamp hours). Clean the quartz sleeve during replacement. Replacement lamps available here.

Best UV Light for Well Water: Viqua VH410 Review
Why a Dedicated PFAS System?
Standard Filters Are Not Designed for Forever Chemicals
PFAS compounds (PFOA, PFOS, GenX, and others) have been found in private wells across the country, especially near military bases, airports, and industrial sites. Standard carbon filters and pitcher filters are not designed to remove them. A dedicated PFAS removal system with the right media is the proven approach.
This 3-stage system handles PFAS removal and bacterial protection in the correct treatment order. The sediment filter traps particles first. The PFAS removal tank uses specialized catalytic carbon to reduce PFAS, PFOA, PFOS, and GenX to non-detect levels. The UV sterilizer kills 99.99% of bacteria and viruses as the final step.
No drain connection needed. No valve programming. One electrical outlet for the UV. This is one of the simplest multi-stage installations we sell, and Aidan is on the phone 7 days a week if you need help.

Frequently Asked Questions
The only way to know is a water test. Standard well water tests do not check for PFAS. You need a test specifically designed for PFAS compounds (PFOA, PFOS, GenX, and others). We sell test kits that check for PFAS. Call us at 800-460-5810 and we can help you figure out which test makes sense for your situation.
PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) are synthetic chemicals that do not break down in the environment. They are sometimes called forever chemicals. They have been found in well water near military bases, airports, fire training sites, and industrial facilities. The EPA has set health advisory levels for several PFAS compounds. If your well is in an area with known contamination, testing and treatment are worth considering.
The catalytic carbon media in this system is effective against the most common PFAS compounds, including PFOA, PFOS, and GenX. It reduces these contaminants to non-detect levels in most cases. If your test results show specific compounds at very high concentrations, call us at 800-460-5810 and we will review the numbers with you before you order.
Many wells with PFAS contamination also have bacterial concerns, especially shallower wells or wells in areas with agricultural runoff. The Viqua VH410 UV sterilizer kills 99.99% of bacteria and viruses as the final treatment step. If your water test shows no bacteria, the UV still provides peace of mind. It does not affect water taste or pressure.
Yes. This is one of the simplest multi-stage installations we sell. There are no drain connections, no valve programming, and only one outlet needed (for the UV). Most homeowners finish in 2-4 hours. Aidan walks customers through the layout over the phone. Call 800-460-5810 before you start.
The catalytic carbon media typically lasts 3-5 years depending on PFAS levels and water usage. We recommend testing your water annually to track performance. When levels start climbing back up, it is time to swap the media. The process is straightforward: pour out the old, pour in the new. Call us if you need help.
PFAS Whole House Well ...$2,395.00
Why a Dedicated PFAS System Costs More
Whole-House PFAS Treatment vs. Generic Filters
What Generic Filters Actually Do
Generic carbon filter pitchers and fridge filters are not designed for PFAS. They may reduce some PFAS compounds slightly, but they do not bring levels to non-detect. Under-sink reverse osmosis systems treat one faucet at a time, leaving every shower, bath, and laundry load untreated.
Many online sellers advertise PFAS removal using standard activated carbon. Standard carbon is not the same as the specialized catalytic carbon media required for meaningful PFAS reduction. Ask what media they are using. If they cannot tell you, that is your answer.

Our Whole-House PFAS + UV System

✅Lifespan: Lasts 15+ years
✅Result: Done right the first time, peace of mind
✅Support: Lifetime USA Support
$1.31/day over a 5-year media life, every faucet treated
A whole-house PFAS system treats every water source in your home for 3-5 years per media fill. Compare that to replacing under-sink RO filters every 6-12 months at $100-200 per change, which still only covers one faucet. The whole-house approach is more thorough and costs less per year when you factor in coverage.
What You Get With This System
This system uses a dedicated PFAS removal tank with catalytic carbon media specifically selected for PFAS, PFOA, PFOS, and GenX reduction. It treats every drop of water entering your home, not just one faucet. The Viqua VH410 UV sterilizer adds bacterial protection as a final treatment stage.
You also get Aidan on the phone 7 days a week. He will review your PFAS test results before you buy, help you install, and answer questions for the life of your system. Most people dealing with PFAS have questions. Having someone to call makes a real difference.

PFAS contamination is a serious concern and the treatment has to work. We have been selling and supporting water treatment systems for 29+ years, and we stand behind every system we ship. This package pairs proven PFAS removal media with UV bacterial protection so your well water is safe on both fronts.
The Industry "Return Policy" Trap
+
Most online retailers offer a return policy that requires you to ship everything back at your expense. After paying return freight and restocking fees, you have spent hundreds of dollars for nothing. It is designed to make returns impractical.
How Our Real Guarantee Works
1
The System Doesn't Reduce PFAS
If your follow-up water test still shows PFAS after installation, that is on us. The system should bring levels to non-detect.
2
You Call Us, We Fix It
We troubleshoot with you: water test results, installation setup, flow rates, media condition. Most issues are resolved quickly.
Full Refund, No Hassle
If we cannot resolve the issue, you get a full refund. We handle the logistics. You do not ship anything back. That is the difference between a real guarantee and a return policy.
PFAS is a newer concern for well owners, and I understand how unsettling it can be to find it in your water. This system uses the right media to bring PFAS to non-detect levels, and the UV sterilizer handles bacteria as a bonus. If you are not sure whether you need this, call me. I will look at your test results and tell you straight.
