Whole House Arsenic Removal System (Non-Backwashing, No Electricity)
Not sure which arsenic system you need?
I'm the guy in the videos. Arsenic treatment is sized from a lab number, not a guess, and the order matters: iron and pH have to be handled before the arsenic stage. Send me your well test and I'll tell you exactly which system fits, or that you don't need one yet.
Complete Non-Backwashing Arsenic Removal System
- ✓ 2 cubic feet of arsenic-selective ion exchange resin - WQA Gold Seal certified hybrid resin, shipped boxed and loaded into the tank at install.
- ✓ 12" x 54" black Vortech mineral tank - corrosion resistant, gravel-free design, 10-year structural warranty.
- ✓ Clack C1190 in/out service head - non-backwashing, no electronics, nothing to program, 5-year warranty.
- ✓ Clack 1" stainless steel bypass valve - pre-installed for tool-free service isolation.
- ✓ Fill funnel - included.
- ✓ Free shipping to all lower 48 states.
Ships fully assembled: no salt, no brine tank, no drain line, no electricity. The head and bypass arrive mounted on the tank; the resin ships boxed and is loaded at install. The resin absorbs arsenic permanently; there is nothing to regenerate or flush. Same tank-and-head architecture as our non-backwashing whole house carbon filter.
Recommended add-on: A 20" Big Blue sediment filter installed upstream protects the resin from particulates. Strongly recommended for any well water installation.

Competing anions note: Sulfate, phosphate, silica, selenium, and vanadium compete with arsenic on ion exchange resin and shorten media life. If your lab report shows elevated levels of any of these, call us with the results before ordering so we can confirm expected media life for your water.
Installation Steps
- Position the tank after the pressure tank and after any sediment filter, iron filter, acid neutralizer, or softener, before the cold water line branches into the home.
- Plumb the bypass - 1" threaded inlet and outlet on the pre-installed Clack stainless bypass fit standard residential plumbing.
- Open the bypass and flush - run water to a nearby faucet for a few minutes to settle the bed and clear any resin fines.
- Test the treated water - confirm arsenic below 10 ppb with a certified lab test, then retest annually. Call 800-460-5810 and Aidan reads the results with you.
No drain line, no brine line, no electrical outlet, no programming. Installation takes 1 to 2 hours for a homeowner with basic plumbing skills, or any local plumber can handle it. Free phone and text support before, during, and after the install.
Ongoing Maintenance
- ✓ Test the treated water annually at a certified lab to verify arsenic stays below the EPA limit. This is the only routine task the system has. Aidan reads the results with you at no charge.
- ✓ No salt, no filters to change, no valve to service. There are no moving parts and no electronics in the treatment path.
- ✓ Rebed at end of media life. When treated-water arsenic starts creeping up (typically after 1 to 5 years), swap in two 1 cu ft boxes of ASM-10-HP arsenic-selective resin. The tank, head, and bypass stay in service.
- ✓ Retest the raw water every few years - well chemistry drifts, and treatment decisions should follow it.
Why the annual test matters: the resin absorbs arsenic until it reaches capacity, and water gives you no visible warning. An annual certified lab test is how you know the media is still working and when a rebed is approaching. Even past capacity this resin never releases arsenic back into your water, so a slightly late test is never a dumping emergency.
The Right Way to Remove Arsenic From Well Water
Ion exchange resin built specifically for arsenic, in a tank with no salt, no drain, and no electronics.
Arsenic in well water is a serious health issue. The EPA's maximum contaminant level is just 10 parts per billion, but levels of 50 ppb or higher are common in arsenic-prone geology. This system treats every tap in the house with 2 cubic feet of WQA Gold Seal certified arsenic-selective resin that binds arsenic permanently inside the bead. There is nothing to backwash, no salt to refill, and no valve to program or power: the resin absorbs arsenic until it reaches capacity, an annual lab test tracks media life, and even past capacity the treated water never exceeds the raw water's arsenic level. When the resin is spent after 1 to 5 years, the tank is rebedded and everything else stays in service.
