Water softener (requires 120V outlet + drain line)
Carbon filter (no power, no drain)
UV sterilizer (requires 120V outlet, install last before house entry)
Electrical Requirements
Three systems need power: the iron filter, the water softener, and the UV sterilizer. You'll need 3 available 120V outlets in your utility area. The acid neutralizer, carbon filter, and sediment filter are fully passive.
Drain Requirements
The iron filter and water softener need drain lines for backwash/regeneration. Route 1/2" tubing to a floor drain, utility sink, or outside (max 20 feet each).
Space Planning
Plan for roughly 8-10 linear feet of wall space. The four tanks (iron, AN, softener, carbon) are each about 13" in diameter. The UV sterilizer mounts horizontally on the wall. The Big Blue housing is compact and mounts vertically.
Time Estimate
Most homeowners complete the full install in 6-10 hours over a weekend. If you hire a plumber, they can call Aidan at 800-460-5810 for programming help with the Fleck valves.
Sediment Filter Every 3-6 months
Replace the 5-micron cartridge when flow drops or it looks dirty. Unscrew the housing with the included wrench, swap the cartridge, and reinstall.
Iron / Sulfur AIO Filter Minimal
The Fleck 2510AIO backwashes automatically on a schedule you set during installation. Katalox-Light media lasts 7-10+ years under normal conditions. No media changes unless iron levels are extreme.
Acid Neutralizer Every 12-18 months
Add calcite through the fillport when the media level drops to about 2/3 full. No valve removal needed. Calcite is available in 50 lb bags.
Water Softener Monthly salt check
Keep the brine tank at least 1/4 full with salt. Most homes go through a 40 lb bag every 4-8 weeks. The Fleck 5600SXT regenerates automatically based on usage.
Carbon Filter Every 3-5 years
Non-backwashing carbon eventually exhausts. When taste or odor returns, replace the activated carbon media (pour out old, pour in new through the fillport).
UV Sterilizer Annual lamp swap
Replace the UV lamp once a year (the controller counts down lamp hours). Clean the quartz sleeve during replacement. Replacement lamps available here.

Why Choose a 6-Stage Well Water System?
The Complete Solution for Wells With Multiple Water Problems
Well water problems rarely come alone. Iron stains your fixtures and clogs your appliances. Low pH corrodes copper pipes from the inside out and leaches metals into your drinking water. Hard water leaves white scale on everything it touches. And bacteria can make untreated well water unsafe to drink.
This 6-stage system handles all of it in the correct treatment order. Sediment is trapped first. Iron and sulfur are oxidized and filtered out. The acid neutralizer raises pH to neutral. The water softener removes hardness minerals. The carbon filter polishes taste and removes chemical contaminants. And the UV sterilizer kills 99.99% of bacteria and viruses as the final step before water enters your home.
Every stage is properly sized to work with the others, so you do not end up with flow rate bottlenecks or one undersized system holding back the rest. All media is included, all tanks are Vortech gravel-free, and all valves are professional-grade. Free shipping to the lower 48.

Frequently Asked Questions
It depends on your water test results. Many wells in the Mid-Atlantic and rural US have iron, low pH, and hardness all at once, which means you genuinely need iron removal, acid neutralization, and softening as separate treatment stages. The carbon filter and UV sterilizer add taste/odor polish and bacterial protection. If you only have one or two problems, a smaller package will save you money. Call Aidan at 800-460-5810 with your water test results and he will tell you exactly which stages you need.
Plan for 8-10 linear feet of wall space in your utility area or basement. The four main tanks are each about 13 inches in diameter. The UV sterilizer mounts horizontally on the wall and the sediment filter is compact. You will also need 3 available 120V outlets (for the iron filter, softener, and UV) and drain access for the iron filter and softener.
Yes, most of our customers do. Aidan walks people through the full installation over the phone, 7 days a week. The most important part is getting the systems in the right order (sediment first, UV last) and making sure plumbing connections are tight. Plan 6-10 hours over a weekend. If you hire a plumber, they can call Aidan directly for help with the Fleck valve programming.
The biggest recurring items are: salt for the softener (a 40 lb bag every 4-8 weeks), calcite for the acid neutralizer (top off every 12-18 months), sediment filter cartridges (every 3-6 months), and the UV lamp (once a year). The iron filter media and carbon media last years before needing replacement. None of these tasks are complicated. We have guides for each one and you can always call us if you need help.
Purchasing all 6 stages together saves $445 compared to buying each system individually. Everything ships on the same pallet, arrives at the same time, and is supported by the same expert from start to finish. We also pre-match the sizing across all stages so you do not end up with a bottleneck where one system is undersized for the rest.
Call us at 800-460-5810 and we will build a custom quote that excludes whatever you already own. For example, if you already have a water softener, you probably just need the iron filter, acid neutralizer, carbon filter, and UV. We do this regularly.

Why a 6-Stage System Costs More
Professional Components vs. Budget Alternatives
What You Get With Budget Systems
Budget whole-house filter bundles cut corners where it counts: undersized tanks that cannot keep up with real household flow rates, cheap resin that degrades in a few years, timer-based regeneration that wastes salt and water, and partial media fills that need immediate topping off.
Worse, most online retailers offer little to no support after the sale. When you are standing in your basement with six systems to connect and a question about install order or valve programming, you are on your own.
The Real Cost Comparison
Budget 'Whole House' Bundle
$3,500-5,000
❌Lifespan: Fails in 3-4 years
❌Result: Frequent repairs, poor water quality, leaks
❌Support: None
$1.20-1.50/day (shorter component life, more maintenance)
Best Long-Term Value
Our Ultimate System
$8,295
✅Lifespan: Lasts 15+ years
✅Result: Done right the first time, peace of mind
✅Support: Lifetime USA Support
$0.76/day over a 30-year system life
When you factor in the premium components, full media fills, and unlimited expert support, this system delivers better long-term value than budget alternatives that need more frequent media replacement, waste more salt, and leave you without help when something needs adjustment. The 10% crosslink resin alone lasts 20-30% longer than the standard 8% resin used in budget packages.
What You Get With Our System
This package uses the same professional-grade components we have been selling for 29+ years: Fleck 2510AIO and 5600SXT valves, Clack C1190 non-backwashing valves, Katalox-Light iron media, 10% crosslink softener resin, and a Viqua VH410 UV sterilizer rated for 18 GPM. Every tank is Vortech gravel-free for better flow and easier service.
You also get Aidan on the phone 7 days a week. Before the purchase, during installation, and for the life of your system. That alone is worth more than most people realize until they need it.

455+Verified Reviews
29+Success Rate
After 29+ years of selling and supporting water treatment systems, we know what works. This is our most comprehensive package, built for homeowners who want every common well water problem handled in one properly-matched system. We pair proven components because that combination delivers years of trouble-free performance.
The Industry "Return Policy" Trap
+
Most online retailers offer a return policy that requires you to ship everything back at your expense. For a 6-stage system, that is 600+ pounds of wet equipment on a pallet. After paying $500+ in return freight, you often find a 15-25% restocking fee on top. It is designed to make returns impractical.
How Our Real Guarantee Works
1
The System Doesn't Fix Your Water
If your water test still shows problems after installation, that is on us. Every stage should be performing.
2
You Call Us, We Fix It
We troubleshoot with you: water test results, installation order, valve settings, flow rates. Most issues are resolved with a simple adjustment.
Full Refund, No Hassle
If we cannot resolve the issue, you get a full refund. We handle the logistics. You do not ship anything back. That is the difference between a real guarantee and a return policy.
This is the system I recommend when a customer calls with a well that has everything going on: iron, low pH, hardness, taste issues, and bacteria. Instead of piecing together systems from different sellers, you get one matched package from one company with one person to call. I have helped thousands of homeowners size and install these exact components.
Honest answer: this product is too new for individual reviews to exist yet. So instead of pretending,
here is what 10,000+ homeowners say about the rest of the systems we sell, same team, same
support, same 29-year track record you'll get with this product.
