- ✕The fill port cap stays with your tank. If yours cracks or goes missing, the replacement is our Dome Hole Cap ($65); the O-ring is not sold on its own.

A calcite top-off, valve on
- Shut off the water to the neutralizer and run a cold faucet until it stops.
- Take off the fill port cap (channel-lock pliers if it is tight) and siphon about 5 gallons of water into a bucket with a 3 foot hose, so the calcite has room.
- Seat the funnel in the port and pour until the calcite is about 10 inches below the port. Can't lift the bag? Scoop it into the funnel with a cup.
- Take the funnel out and put the cap on loosely.
- Open the water slowly. When water spits out at the cap, hand-tighten it, let the tank come up to full pressure, then give it a quarter to a half turn with the pliers. Over-tightening splits the lip of the fill port.

The 1-1/4 inch dome hole funnel that ships with our complete Clack 1.0 to 2.5 and Fleck 2510SXT 1.5 to 2.5 cu ft acid neutralizers ordered since mid-2024.
The funnel for topping off calcite through the side fill port, the 1-1/4 inch capped opening on the shoulder of the tank. Take the cap off, seat the funnel and pour; the valve and plumbing stay where they are. In Aidan's words, it "fits right in the hole, supports itself, and it makes it easy for you just to pour the calcite in."

30-Day Returns on Unopened Parts
Tell us within 3 days of delivery if the item is damaged, missing or wrong. For shipping damage, you file the carrier claim and we help with it.
Call 800-460-5810 within 30 days of delivery for approval before you send anything back. New, unopened items can be returned. A 25% restocking fee applies (waived on an exchange of equal or greater value), and you pay the return freight.
