Not sure which reverse osmosis system fits your water? The right RO depends on your water and your patience for maintenance. Send Aidan your water test results (or just tell him city or well) and he will recommend honestly between the MAW-50, the Pure-75, and the certified Pentair systems, even when the answer is the cheaper one. On well water he will also flag anything that needs treating upstream so your membrane lasts its full 24 months.

Complete Pure-75 Quick-Change RO System

  • 4-stage RO unit with all four Twist & Loc cartridges installed - 5 micron sediment, carbon block pre-filter, 75 GPD TFC membrane, carbon block post-filter
  • 3.2 gallon storage tank - polypropylene-coated, NSF-approved white steel, holds finished water so it is ready at the faucet
  • Chrome lead-free long-reach faucet - dedicated drinking water faucet for the sink
  • 3/8" tank-to-faucet delivery line - faster glass-filling than the 1/4" line on most budget RO units
  • Quick-connect fittings + angle stop adapter valve - push-to-connect tubing, no soldering
  • Filter wrench and installation hardware
  • Free shipping to all lower 48 states
Replacement filters: the Pure-75 Filter Replacement Kit ($195) covers all four cartridges, including the membrane. Individual cartridges, including an optional alkalinity remineralization cartridge, are available by phone or text at 800-460-5810.

The 4 Stages

1 Sediment filter (5 micron) - strips sand, silt, and rust before they reach the carbon
2 Carbon block pre-filter - removes chlorine, taste, and odor to protect the membrane
3 RO membrane (75 GPD TFC) - rejects dissolved solids at the molecular level
4 Carbon block post-filter - final taste polish on the way to the faucet

Filter Life & Replacements

Sediment + Carbon BlocksReplace every 6 months (quarter-turn, under 2 minutes)
RO MembraneReplace every 24 months

OptionalAlkalinity remineralization cartridge for mineral-added taste - order by phone: 800-460-5810
Standard under-sink install with quick-connect fittings throughout. The angle stop adapter valve taps the cold line without soldering, the tubing pushes to connect, and no electricity is needed anywhere in the system.
On well water, treat the well problems first. Iron, manganese, heavy sediment, or bacteria will foul any RO membrane fast. If you are on a well and have not tested recently, start with a well water test kit and we will confirm what (if anything) needs to go upstream.
  1. Shut off the cold supply under the sink and relieve pressure at the faucet (only needed for the initial install, never again for filter changes)
  2. Install the angle stop adapter valve on the cold line and mount the RO unit in the sink cabinet
  3. Drill the faucet hole (or use an existing sprayer hole) and mount the chrome lead-free faucet
  4. Position the 3.2 gallon storage tank and connect the 3/8" tank-to-faucet delivery line
  5. Connect the feed, drain, and tank lines with the quick-connect fittings
  6. Turn the water on, check for leaks, let the tank fill, then drain the first tank or two to flush the new cartridges
Need help? Call or text Aidan at 800-460-5810, 7 days a week. Most homeowners with basic DIY comfort finish the install in about an hour; any local plumber can do it if you would rather not.
This is why people buy the Pure-75. Cartridges disengage with a quarter twist of the wrist, with the water still on, even under full pressure. No housing wrench, no sump of water dumped in the sink, no o-rings to re-seat. A full filter change takes under 2 minutes.

Replacement Schedule

  • Every 6 Months Sediment + both carbon block cartridges. These protect the membrane and keep taste sharp.
  • Every 24 Months RO membrane. The membrane does the dissolved-solids work; do not stretch this interval.

How a Filter Change Works

  1. Grip the old cartridge and give it a quarter twist - it disengages and the flow stops automatically. No water shutoff needed.
  2. Twist the new cartridge in until it locks.
  3. Done. Repeat for each cartridge that is due. Total time: under 2 minutes.
Ordering replacements: the Pure-75 Filter Replacement Kit ($195) includes the sediment, both carbon blocks, and the membrane. In between membrane changes you only need sediment + carbon: call or text 800-460-5810 and we will ship individual cartridges, including the optional alkalinity remineralization cartridge if you want mineral-added taste.

Filter Day in Under 2 Minutes, With the Water Still On

Quarter-turn Twist & Loc cartridges + a proven 4-stage, 75 GPD reverse osmosis train

Most reverse osmosis systems make you pay for clean water twice: once at the checkout, and again every six months when filter day means a housing wrench, a shutoff valve, a sump full of water dumped in the sink, and an o-ring that may or may not seal on the first try. The Pure-75 removes that entire ritual. Each Twist & Loc cartridge disengages with a quarter twist of the wrist while the system is under full pressure. The flow stops automatically, the new cartridge twists in, and you are done in under 2 minutes. The filtration itself is a proven 4-stage train: a 5 micron sediment filter, a carbon block pre-filter, a 75 GPD TFC reverse osmosis membrane, and a carbon block post-filter for final taste polish. Actual production runs approximately 30.65 gallons per day at standard conditions, roughly ten times what a family drinks, and the 3.2 gallon NSF-approved steel storage tank keeps finished water ready at the included chrome lead-free faucet. The 3/8 inch delivery line fills a glass noticeably faster than the 1/4 inch line on most budget units, and the whole system runs on line pressure with no electricity. Maintenance costs are predictable: sediment and carbon cartridges every 6 months, the membrane every 24 months, and the complete $195 replacement kit covers all four cartridges including the membrane. Free shipping, 7-day-a-week support, and honest sizing from real water treatment specialists with 30+ years of experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

Correct: no shutoff. Each Twist & Loc cartridge disengages with a quarter twist of the wrist, even with the home's plumbing under full pressure. The flow stops automatically when the cartridge disengages, the new cartridge twists in until it locks, and you are done. No housing wrench, no sump of water to dump in the sink, no o-rings to re-seat. A complete change of all four cartridges takes under 2 minutes, which is the entire reason this system exists.

The membrane is rated 75 gallons per day nominal, and actual production is approximately 30.65 gallons per day (116 liters) at standard test conditions. Real-world output varies with feed pressure and temperature. Both numbers are far beyond what you will use: a family drinks and cooks with roughly 2 to 4 gallons a day. The 3.2 gallon storage tank means the water is already made and pressurized when you open the faucet, so you never wait on the membrane.

The steel storage tank is NSF approved, but the system itself is not NSF system-certified, and we would rather tell you that plainly than imply otherwise. Reverse osmosis as a technology is the same either way; certification is third-party verification of a specific system's performance claims. If a full system certification matters to you, our Pentair FreshPoint 4-stage RO ($795) carries NSF/ANSI 42, 53, and 58, and our PFAS Reverse Osmosis System ($895) adds certified 99.7% Total PFAS reduction. If you want easy maintenance and excellent drinking water at a fair price, the Pure-75 is the pick.

Yes. RO water is safe to drink and removes contaminants like lead, arsenic, and nitrates along with dissolved solids. It also removes minerals like calcium and magnesium, which most people get almost entirely from food, not water. Some people prefer the taste of mineral-added water: for the Pure-75 we offer an optional alkalinity remineralization cartridge that adds minerals back after the membrane. Call or text 800-460-5810 to add one to your order.

Three honest ones. First, wastewater: every RO system sends reject water to the drain (typically a few gallons per gallon of finished water depending on feed pressure). Second, mineral removal: RO strips calcium and magnesium along with the contaminants, which only matters for taste preference and is fixable with the optional alkalinity cartridge. Third, tank refill speed: after you draw the 3.2 gallon tank down, the membrane refills it over a few hours. For drinking and cooking use, none of these are problems in practice; we just prefer you know them before buying.

Yes, with one condition: the membrane needs protection from whatever else is in the well. Iron, manganese, heavy sediment, and bacteria will foul an RO membrane quickly if they are not handled upstream by the right whole-house equipment. If you have not tested recently, start with a well water test kit, then call or text 800-460-5810 with the results. We will tell you honestly whether your well needs pre-treatment first or whether the Pure-75 can go straight in.

The sediment filter and both carbon block cartridges change every 6 months; the membrane changes every 24 months. The Pure-75 Filter Replacement Kit ($195) includes all four cartridges with the membrane. Between membrane changes you only need the sediment and carbon cartridges, which we ship individually: call or text 800-460-5810 to order. Each change is a quarter twist per cartridge with the water still on.

We keep the ladder honest. The MAW-50 ($275) is the value pick: same core RO technology with standard filter housings and wrench-style changes. The Pure-75 ($595) is for people who want maintenance to be effortless: quarter-turn cartridge changes with no water shutoff. The Pentair FreshPoint 4-stage ($795) adds NSF/ANSI 42, 53, and 58 system certification. The PFAS RO ($895) is the certified answer if forever chemicals are confirmed in your water. If you are unsure, call or text 800-460-5810 and we will recommend from your actual water, even if the answer is the cheaper system.

Pure-75 Reverse Osmosis System - Quarter-Turn Quick Change, 75 GPD
Pure-75 Reverse Osmosi... $595.00

Why the Pure-75 Costs More Than a Budget RO

You are paying for the next ten years of filter days, not just the box

What you get with a budget standard-housing RO

A $150-$250 RO unit filters water the same way on day one. The difference shows up every filter day after that: shut off the feed, depressurize, wrestle each housing open with a wrench, dump the sump water, fish out and lube the o-rings, seat the new cartridge straight, and hope nothing drips into the cabinet overnight. Most people stretch the schedule to avoid the chore, and stretched filters are how membranes die early and water quality quietly slides.

Budget units also typically ship with a 1/4 inch faucet line (slow glass filling) and mixed no-name replacement parts that are easy to mismatch when reordering.

The Real Cost Comparison

Budget Standard-Housing RO
$150 - $250
  • Lifespan: Fails in 3-4 years
  • Result: Frequent repairs, poor water quality, leaks
  • Support: None
Wrench-and-bucket filter days, mixed no-name parts, slow 1/4" faucet line
Best Long-Term Value
Pure-75 Quick-Change RO
$595
  • Lifespan: Lasts 15+ years
  • Result: Done right the first time, peace of mind
  • Support: Lifetime USA Support
2-minute quarter-turn changes, $195 complete kit, 3/8" fast faucet line

Over ten years you will change filters roughly 20 times. On a standard- housing unit that is 20 sessions with a wrench and a wet cabinet; on the Pure-75 it is 20 quarter-turns totaling well under an hour of your life. The replacement economics stay predictable too: $195 for the complete kit with membrane every 24 months, and only sediment + carbon cartridges in between. If you would rather save money and do not mind the wrench, our MAW-50 at $275 is the honest budget pick - we sell both for a reason.

What you get with the Pure-75

Quarter-turn Twist & Loc cartridge changes with no water shutoff, even under full pressure: a complete filter change takes under 2 minutes with no tools, no spills, and no o-rings. When maintenance is this easy, it actually happens on schedule, and the membrane lives its full 24 months.

The hardware is right-sized too: a 3.2 gallon NSF-approved steel tank, a 3/8 inch delivery line that fills a glass noticeably faster than budget 1/4 inch lines, a chrome lead-free long-reach faucet, and quick-connect fittings throughout. Plus 7-day-a-week support from water treatment specialists with 30+ years of experience.

30+ Success Rate

We have been helping homeowners get great drinking water for over 30 years. The Pure-75 is a compact under-sink system, so trying it is low-stakes: install it, taste the difference, do a filter change and feel how easy the quarter-turn design is, and confirm it is the right fit with zero long-term commitment.

The Industry "Return Policy" Trap +

Many online water treatment retailers technically accept returns, but the fine print requires you to pay return shipping and then deducts a 15-25% restocking fee. It is a return policy designed to discourage returns.

Ours is different: contact us within 30 days, we provide return instructions, and unopened systems carry no restocking fee.

How Our 30-Day Return Works
1
Contact Us Within 30 Days

Call, text, or email within 30 days of delivery to start the return. We'll ask a few quick questions about the system's condition.

2
We Send Return Instructions

The Pure-75 ships back as an ordinary parcel - no freight logistics, no crating. We walk you through repacking it.

Refund Issued, No Restocking Fee

Once the system is back at our warehouse and inspected, we issue a full refund to your original payment method. No restocking fees on unopened systems.

Aidan

I recommend the Pure-75 to people who tell me they dread filter day, because the quarter-turn design genuinely fixes that. But it has to earn its spot under your sink. Install it, taste the water, change a cartridge with the water still on, and decide for yourself. If it is not right, 30 days, no restocking fee, no hard feelings.

Solved my very high iron issues

"I had well water with over 20 ppm ferrous and 7 ppm of ferric iron, plus manganese and some sulfur. Local water companies rejected me, said they couldn't help. I purchased two Fleck 2.5 cu. ft. 2510AIO iron filter tanks with Katalox-Light. Problem solved."
